Chicken Larb

This recipe is inspired by:


  • Raw white rice
  • Shallot (or red onion)
  • Green Onion
  • 1 part Fish Sauce
  • 1 part Lime juice
  • 1/4 part Sugar
  • Mint leaves
  • Cilanatro
  • Ground chicken thigh

Make Roasted Rice Powder[edit]

  • Bring a pan to medium heat
  • Saute white rice into slightly toasted
  • Grind rice in a spice grinder

Mise En Place[edit]

  • Dice red onion
  • Dice Green Onion


  • Heat up a pan to medium heat
  • Add a little bit of water
  • Add the raw ground chicken thigh
  • Cook the mixture with water until the chicken is cooked
  • Add the roasted rice powder, fish sauce, lime juice, red onion, green onion, and Thai Basil
